Spa Track Day

THURSDAY 24 APRIL

On Thursday, 24th April, the Spa Summer Classic will open its untimed free practice sessions to cars and drivers not registered for the meeting.

The track will welcome both non-event Touring and GT cars, as well as drivers competing in the official series over the weekend. These sessions are dedicated to fast-paced driving, without timing or classification, in a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect among participants, regardless of vehicle category.

ELIGIBLE CARS

Accepted vehicles:

  • Classic cars
  • Modern cars
  • Road cars
  • Racing cars

Non-accepted vehicles:

  • Open-wheel / Formula / Single-seater cars (exposed wheels)
  • Monospaces, SUVs, motorhomes, vans, or vehicles with fewer than four wheels

► All road tyres are accepted. Slick tyres are only permitted on competition cars equipped with a roll cage.
► Each car must have a towing eye.
► A race number will be placed on the front right door of the car to allow access to the track.
► A technical inspection of the car is not required to participate in the untimed free practice sessions.

All cars share the track, regardless of year, engine capacity, or classification. The organiser reserves the right to deny track access to any vehicle that does not meet the minimum safety standards.

MAXIMUM PERMITTED NOISE LEVEL

A static noise test is conducted before track access, with a maximum permitted level of 107 dB (measured at the exhaust).

During each lap, a dynamic noise test is carried out, with a noise limit of 103 dB (measured 15 metres from the centreline).

 

DRIVERS

► To access the track, each driver must wear a helmet. Arms and legs must be covered. Wearing a fireproof suit is recommended but not mandatory.

► Each driver must sign a liability waiver and will receive a wristband for track access, along with a briefing summarising key safety principles (pit lane entry/exit, flag meanings, etc.).

► Passengers are not permitted in cars participating in the free practice sessions. A special exemption request can be submitted to Roadbook (contact@roadbook.net) for professional instructors or equivalent.

PRICE

Participation cost: 220 EUR incl. VAT per session and per car.

► A place in the paddocks will be reserved for your car. Looking to be as close as possible to the Pitlane? Opt for a space in an F1 garage for the entire day on Thursday, April 24th, to be vacated by 6 PM.

Cost for a spot in an F1 garage: 250 EUR incl. VAT per car for the day.

► A few days after submitting your registration via the online form, you will receive a personalised confirmation email.

► On-site, we will welcome you from 08:00 at Room 115 – 1st floor of the F1 Pit Building. There, you will be able to confirm or adjust your booking and proceed with the payment, either by credit card or in cash.

REGISTRATION

I wish to book one or more free practice sessions on Thursday, 24th April.

► The registration fee is €220 incl. VAT per car and per session.
► The maximum permitted noise level on track is 103 dB during dynamic testing.

After submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation email with all the practical details for payment. Only paid registrations guarantee a place.

TRACK SAFETY

► To access the track, each driver must wear a helmet. Arms and legs must be covered.
► Each car must have a towing eye.
► If a participant breaks down on the circuit, they must wait behind the safety barrier for the intervention of the safety vehicle.
► The maximum speed allowed in the Pit Lane and Paddock is 30 km/h.
► Driving in the opposite direction on the circuit or reversing is strictly prohibited.
► Each driver must sign a liability waiver and will receive a wristband for track access, along with a briefing summarising key safety principles (pit lane entry/exit, flag meanings, etc.).

The relevant authorities may exclude a car if noise limits are not respected or in case of dangerous behaviour on track.
